I have a tradition of going into the ocean in time before May each year. Today was the day. I guess it is about +4 deg Celcius in the Oslo fjord right now (and + 6 deg Celcius in the air). The snow is still on the beach (it was raining a little bit) and I just walked right out there. My feet got numb and really cold and I feel strong and happy. And after drying my feet they get really warm and wonderful. Hopefully the sun will come out one of these days and then I will get my body into the fjord before May. The whole family was there, we had a bonfire and grilled sausages, bread and marshmellows. I really appreciate this kind of activities. Easter for me is more of the beach, making my bike ready for the spring/summer, get rid of all the snow, look at the flowers taking a peak out of the ground, tidy all the winter activity things (skiis, the shovel, sledge etc) and so on.

Easter
